We do not recommend any of the following steps for photo prints. Once clean, be sure any holders, trays, or bags you are using to store your photos are clean as well. This should be enough to remove the remaining dust. Give the photo a quick wipe with a microfiber cleaning cloth or a soft paintbrush. While this will clean a lot of the dust, it may not clean all of it. We recommend using a bulb blower or canned electronic safe compressed air to dust the slides. Just because a photo print, slide, or negative looks good to the naked eye doesn’t mean there isn’t dust present. Be sure to do this to photos individually, rather than in a stack.ĭust can be a little tricky to remove. Removing larger debris like dirt, hair, or sand is simple!
